( pronounced Knee How --- hello) ,
I am thrilled to be back with you as the
Director of the Summer Enrichment Program.
I know that I will be spending July with
some awesome educators and students. I
have been working on curriculum for months
but just got the official word.
So may I save your child a seat in this
program ? We will be studying China and
of course, we will have a science unit.
Every day includes Morning meeting, thematic
work, math, reading, and writing classes.
We take both academic and recreational
time very seriously .
When our students return to school in
the fall , they will be able to report
on their July as - Yes, I had time for
the beach and play . I also visited China,
learned some calligraphy, built on my
sign language vocabulary and learned some
Mandarin words as well. I also read ,
wrote, and calculated.
I hope to see many of you as we get together
to be enriched.
